I wanted the lashes of this eyes to look like sun rays. As I kept painting, I realized that I had subconsciously created a protective eye that looked like a sun rising on a landscape of softened fractal shapes. I had sketched it out beforehand and chose the colors ahead of painting, but once I was finished I saw a completely different image that I originally had intended and fell in love with it.
